On the 29th of July – you can give much more than a new outfit to someone in need.
At Suited to Success, our services are focused on increasing confidence, building self-esteem, and helping people to thrive. These are the gifts you truly give, when you donate to us.
Our services are powered by donations from the community. For every $200 we raise – we can help another person who needs our services. And on the 29th of July – every dollar we raise will be doubled by our generous partners!
We help people who are looking for work, starting new jobs, rebuilding their wardrobes after natural disasters (such as the recent floods), appearing in court, and preparing for other important life events.
People like Georgia, who recently shared:
“I am so grateful to Suited to Success for the wonderful care they showed helping to rebuild my wardrobe for work after the floods…They made the experience so easy and I relaxed and felt safe and welcome. Every donation, big or small, will go straight to work – helping someone who needs our services.
The 29th of July is also International Lipstick Day! We chose to hold our Giving Day on this day for two reasons.
- Wearing lipstick is something that gives lots of people a boost of confidence and happiness when they get dressed – and that is exactly what we aim to do at Suited to Success and Dress for Success Brisbane.
- We thought it would be fun to have some lipstick-themed fundraisers! So share a selfie in your favourite lipstick to encourage others to donate – or challenge friends or co-workers to join you in some fundraising. Lipstick-themed cupcakes anyone?
